Job Role and Expectations:

Private caregivers are expected to be punctual, professional, appropriately dressed, and friendly, going above and beyond to provide superior, compassionate care for the elderly community. Duties may encompass sitter services, personal care (including assistance with dressing, bathing, toileting, and transfers), light housekeeping, pet care, and running errands or shopping.

We are on the lookout for individuals who are passionate about this line of work, and not solely motivated by the paycheck.

As a valued member of our compassionate team, your role will be pivotal in reducing the risk of senior isolation, ensuring their safety and security despite age-related conditions or mobility issues. Your presence will serve as a beacon of happiness in their lives, granting their family members the peace of mind they deserve.

Responsibilities:

• Patient Care: Foster trust and assurance by attending to patients with utmost care and competence, assisting with hygiene and daily living activities.
• Medical Needs: Oversee vital sign monitoring, weight checks, and various health tests, while managing non-sterile dressings and other medical preparations.
• Professional Development: Maintain any required specialized training and undertake additional tasks pertinent to assigned patients or areas.

Requirements:

• Successful completion of a relevant nursing assistant course (CHHA, PCA, LNA, HCA) is preferable. However, if you are dependable and have a caring heart, we are willing to train you.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in hospital or in-home care settings preferred, with credible references.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds occasionally.
• Exhibit qualities such as patience, empathy, dedication, and a nurturing spirit.
• Excellent communication skills, active listening abilities, and a detail-oriented approach to time management and organization are a must.
