Overview

The SAP HANA Developer plays a pivotal role in the success of our data-driven strategies by designing, developing, and optimizing high-performance database applications. • Design and implement HANA database solutions to support business intelligence applications.
• Develop and optimize SQL scripts for performance and maintainability.
• Conduct data modeling to design tables, views, and procedures that cater to business needs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Implement ETL processes to integrate data between various sources and SAP HANA.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database issues including performance bottlenecks and errors.
• Conduct performance tuning using HANA's tools and features to enhance application efficiency.
• Document technical designs, processes, and methodologies for reference and compliance.
• Provide support for production systems, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Stay updated with the latest SAP HANA enhancements and evaluate their impact on existing systems.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
• Work closely with SAP consultants to validate system configurations and best practices.
• Contribute to the development of data governance policies and practices.
• Engage in ongoing training and knowledge-sharing initiatives to build team capabilities.
• Assist with migrating legacy systems to HANA-based solutions while ensuring data integrity.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an SAP HANA Developer or similar role.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and database query languages.
• Experience with SAP HANA Studio and development tools.
• Knowledge of data modeling techniques and best practices.
• Familiarity with ETL tools and data integration methodologies.
• Understanding of performance tuning techniques for databases.
• Experience in ABAP programming is a plus.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
• Proficiency with cloud technologies and SAP HANA's deployment options.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
