Job Description:
Executes Casa Bonita's Table Service standards with precision. Engages directly and effectively with guests, ensuring a thorough understanding of identification verification for age confirmation. Proficiently serves both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in adherence to Tips/Serve Safe guidelines and company protocols. Actively promotes upselling of beverages, sides, desserts, arcade credits, and additional food items for take-home. Maintains high standards of cleanliness during opening, service, and closing of service stations and designated sections. Flexible to rotate through roles including non-alcoholic beverage service, drink service, bussing, running, and expo service.
Responsibilities:
- Welcoming and interacting with all guests to help create a magical experience when on the floor.
- Serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages based on TiPs and company specifications. Every guest must be ID prior to alcohol service.
- Selling beverages, sides, desserts, arcade credit and additional food items for take home to guests.
- Delivering ordered items to table.
- Cleaning, clearing, and resetting tables.
- Cleaning workstation, removal of trash.
- Checks out with direct supervisor and finishes any tasks requested.
- May be asked to do other tasks as needed.
- Performs all job-related functions in a cordial, friendly manner that is committed to exceeding guest and team member expectations.
- Ensure all service and suggestive selling standards are met.
- Training and Continuing Education of POS systems.
- Executes all promotions and in-store marketing campaigns.
- Assist in any department or any role where needed including side work and cleaning up at the end of shift
Requirements:
- Must have a minimum of 1 year of server experience in a high-paced environment.
- Must be over 18 years old.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds and carry trays of food or drinks safely.
- Experience with cash handling and be able to count back proper change without a calculator.
- Must be able to stand, walk, run during complete working shift.
- Must be able to communicate clearly in English with guests and team for all responsibilities of the job.
- Must get TIPS/Servsafe certified in first 3 weeks.
- Must attend all orientation and training shifts.
- Able to work effectively independently as well as part of the team.
- Able to multitask and work in an extremely fast-paced environment.
- Speed, accuracy and efficiency are required as well as the ability to work well under pressure.
- Ability to work in a loud, distracting environment with flashing lights, haze machines, ongoing shows, and large numbers of guests constantly moving around you.
- Ability to walk up and down inclines multiple times a shift.
- Ability to walk up and down stairs multiple times a shift.
- Willing to follow procedures and take direction.
- Supportive of other team members.
- Can compete repetitive tasks while maintaining standards.
- Must be flexible to work a variety of shifts, including weekends, days, late nights, holidays, and special events. All shifts include a minimum of one weekend day.
- PTO Blackout period from Thanksgiving week till January. (Though we are closed Thanksgiving and Christmas for employees to spend with their families.)
Physical & Environmental Demands:
- Able to stand for long periods of time and walk often at a brisk pace
- Able to walk up inclines and stairs and down declines and stairs multiple times during a shift
- Capable of sitting, stooping, bending, reaching, and lifting/carrying items up to 50 pounds
- Able to work and perform job tasks in small spaces
- Possesses fine motor skills and dexterity
- Able to withstand temperatures typical within an commercial kitchen setting
- Able to withstand noise levels typical of a high-volume kitchen
- Able to perform job duties efficiently in lighting conditions typical of an commercial restaurant and commercial kitchen
- Able to work calmly under pressure and at a fast pace, typical of a high volume restaurant and commercial kitchen
- Capable of and at ease with engaging with the public, potentially encountering challenging behavior, infectious diseases, and service animals
- Must be able to walk a minimum of 10,000 steps during any given shift.
