Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Telemetry Research Technician with expertise in cardiac arrhythmia recognition to join our clinical research team. In this role, you will play a vital part in monitoring patients, drawing blood, and supporting various research activities.
Key Responsibilities:
· Recognize and assess cardiac arrhythmias in study subjects. Perform phlebotomy, including drawing blood and preparing samples for analysis.
· Review and comply with study-specific protocols related to telemetry monitoring.
· Communicate effectively and professionally with study subjects and unit personnel.
· Maintain accurate and complete source data and documentation throughout the study.
· Assist in the setup and preparation of telemetry monitoring systems and transmitters.
· Participate in continuous cardiac telemetry monitoring and seek assistance as needed.
· Support telemetry data review and assist in generating Holter reports as required.
· Uphold the safety and confidentiality of study subjects at all times.
· Understand and comply with standard operating procedures (SOPs), FDA regulations, and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) requirements .
Qualifications:
· Experience in recognizing cardiac arrhythmias is essential.
· Proficiency in phlebotomy and drawing blood.
· Ability to take and monitor vital signs.
· 1-2 years of work experience in a clinical research setting.
· Background in emergency medical services (e.g., paramedic, firefighter) is advantageous.
